Our excellent 7-5 win over Salford last Saturday has enabled us to secure our place in the G.M.C.S.F.A Under 15 League play-off finals.
The play-offs are a new feature of the league this year and will see the four qualified teams play each other in 40 minute matches in a round-robin, mini-league format on the same evening. A trophy will be presented to the side that finishes with the most points.
Congratulations to Mr Baldwin and to all of the players who have been involved in helping us to qualify. This represents a superb opportunity for us to finish three years of town team football on a high. There is also the Greater Manchester County Cup to play for in the near future.
At the moment the play-off finals are pencilled in for 6pm on Friday 6th May. Salford and Trafford have also definitely qualified and it looks as though it is between Warrington and Manchester for the final place.
