Thanks to everyone who travelled down the M62 for the Liverpool friendly on Saturday 15th October. The result was not what we wanted but there was lots to learn from the way that Liverpool played and made the most of their opportunities.
Liverpool were national finalists two years ago and have serious ambitions of winning the competition this year. They won’t lose many games this season so to taste defeat there is no disgrace at all. In the next few days we can to reflect on what worked and what didn’t and then look forward to our next competitive fixture with optimism.
Mr Watson will be in touch about training this week but a session is pencilled in for Wednesday 19th October at 4pm.
