Thanks to everyone who was involved in our Alder Owen Cup defeat to Liverpool at the weekend. Although we were beaten again by a very strong side the game was much closer than our first encounter and by all accounts we were unlucky not to take the lead early on. Liverpool are one of the favourites to win the national cup at U15 level so to run them close indicates that we can compete with any district side on our day.
There is only one more match scheduled for us before the Christmas break and that will be away at Salford on Saturday 17th December in the Greater Manchester County Cup. More details will appear on this page in due course.
Training will take place this Wednesday 7th December at 4pm on the Canon Slade astro-turf.
